					<description>I disagree, Like the GEICO Gecko, it is an expected part of the image, Geico has  kept the gecko fresh with other  "series" commercials. Aflac can do the same, and once the icon is created nostalgia sets in, an example would be the resurrection of the 1960 Tootsie pop commercial, "it takes THREE licks..."

Iconic commercials seldom become liabilities. AFLAC's foreign (Japanese) commercials are just as popular, except there is film out about the filming of them, which shows the living duck with a series of control rods wrapped around its head, and  forcing the duck to pose for the shots, and they even yank the duck almost off the set  with the control "sticks" AFLAC should be more worried about inhumane animal treatment image than brand ID. I hope the duck is insured.</description>
