I think an important aspect of the review is the piece about Ford creating &quot;permission to believe&quot;.I also think that the positioning as &quot;tough&quot; works better than you give credit.  the f-150 targets a different demographic than jeep or hummer and the folks thatlove their fords are elitists who snub their nose at &quot;monied&quot; folk who drive those tough guy wanna be vehicles.  these are the types of folks who believe their ford can do anything that a jeep can do and do it better.
