In fact Bill Gates' website offers some &lt;A HREF="http://www.microsoft.com/billgates/speeches/2001/10-25winxplaunch.asp&lt;br/&gt;" REL="nofollow"&gt;remarks&lt;/A&gt; from their NYC launch party. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Hmmm... no mentions of the creative user at the launch. No mentions of the creative user in the 4 years that followed. It kinda seems like Microsoft just realized there was a creative user market. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Too little too late on this one. The ad is alright, but the the entire marketing push says, "me too."&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Apple has done such a great job connecting with the creative user that Microsoft will have to do something extraordinary to win that group over.</description>
