I would like to comment on the statement you made of "instead of maintaining a fondness for Wal-Mart and seeking to regain the Wal-Mart business". Wal-Mart just canned the company after over 30 years of service (in which there were no complaints regarding Flagler), fondness is not a adverb I would entertain in this situation. Also, to set the record straight: The original owner of Flagler Productions, Mike Flagler, was not the present owner who sold these tapes. Mike had retired and sold the company to his employees two years earlier. Wal-Mart was offered to purchase the tapes, and insulted the company with its conunter offer. I may have personal reasons for supporting Flagler Productions, Inc., but I also have personal reasons for not supporting Wal-Mart. I am live in a small Missouri town that Wal-Mart has taken over. I have seen friends/business owners go out of business. I have seen residence take jobs at Wal-Mart who are scheduled just below the hours needed to be considered full time and eligable for benefits, including health insurance. These are the people who must now seek state aid (my tax dollars), for medicaid benefits.

I personally believe that Sam Walton may have had the communities interest at heart with the inception of Wal-Mart, but his vision has been replaced with greed. I do my best to avoid Wal-Mart, yes they have the low prices, and that is difficult to resist, some may claim impossible in todays economy. But, at what cost to your community and its residents?

I'm sure that your book is an excellent book, but even though I am not a religious person, I can think of a best seller that has been around for thousands of years, which might have helped the people at Walmart out, if they had actually read it.
