If so how do you stop it, any plugin or anything you can recommend? I get so much lately it's driving me insane so any help is very much appreciated.

The problem is that people don't like change, they like familiarity and this is what gives them the security they crave. Change can be good as it is often for the better and how boring life would be if everything stayed the same.

That's true Mary, America does need to make some changes, but what country doesn't? Change is inevitable in every person, family, neigbhorhood, city, state, country, and probably even planet. The only way to promote change is through some type of advertising. And it better be good since people tend to be resistent to change. Here is a good place to promote change...or whatever else you might be promoting:

well yes,, America does need to do some changes. Customer service should also be a major factor and they need to be consistent in whatever actions they do. Here's more to where you can visit at http://costaricahq.com

Thanks

Improving the quality of place branding practiced by the economic development community is another way to improve America's global competitiveness. The new place branding community o9f practice - StrengtheningBrandAmerica.com helps educate economic development professionals on the effective reapplication of private sector product and corporate branding principles in the marketing of states and cities.

What really stuck out to me about this post was the call for brand consistency. Obama won the nomination and the election at least in part because of his brand promise "Change". Thanks for your post. Its always good to see the ole fundamentals play out in the new technology. Consistency, Communication, and Customer Service!

A little better customer service in our embassies around the world couldn't hurt. But most of all, we just need to stop invading other countries.

Brand America has taken a huge hit in the last 10 years, and it'll take time to restore that public perception. No matter what Obama does.

30 seconds after O took the Oath the gov't reflected it all on the .gov website- please, Obama is the head of advertising. Let's hope he isn't selling a bill of goods.

To add to your list- closing Guantánamo and intervening in Darfur would have a strong impact on the perceptions of the world community.

I am hopeful that Obama can turnaround the tarnished Brand America.
