It was a play to the loyalists who loved Yahoo! for the wack of yore and wierdness gone by. But I think it lacked the elegance of old spots and a little bit of the humanity. I did laugh at the "Car Recall" spot with the guy going through the windshield. We'll see if "the hoo" puts enough money behind the media to make these spots actually work. Because ultimately, you're right, the joke is more distracting than informative. We shall see.</description>
